Seville hosted the Fourth United Nations International Conference on Financing for Development from June 30 to July 3 at the Palacio de Congresos y Exposiciones de Sevilla (FIBES). This is the only forum where leaders from all governments, international and regional organizations, financial and commercial institutions, business, civil society and the United Nations system meet at the highest level to strengthen international cooperation. The conference was attended by more than 60 leaders, 200 delegations and some 400 events, making it the largest international event to be held in Spain in recent years, and it should be noted that it was carried out in a completely normal manner.
